【Important】 Apology and notice regarding the error in the "barometric pressure notation" in the YASUDA official test sphere

We have discovered that there is an error in the numerical notation of the "recommended corresponding air pressure" written near the valve of the ball body in the newly released JFA test ball.

We would like to report on the details of this matter and future actions as follows.

1. Eligible Products

Target location: Barometric pressure display near the air injection part (valve) of the ball body

2. Contents of misspellings

Due to manufacturing defects, the recommended values of the "normal ball" are incorrectly printed instead of the original recommended values of the "test ball".

Mistake (printing):
0.42 to 0.56 bar / 413 to 551 hPa (normal sphere figures)

Positive (Right):
No. 5 ball: 0.7~1.0bar/700~1000hpa
No. 4 ball: 0.6~0.9bar/600~900hpa
(JFA/FIFA standard ball reference value)

3. Product Quality and Safety

The specifications of this product, such as its structure, durability, and resilience, have strictly met the certification standards set by the Japan Football Association (JFA) and FIFA (International Football Federation).

Even if the product is used at the air pressure as indicated, there is no safety hazard such as rupture.
However, in order to optimally demonstrate the original performance of the test ball (hitting feel and distance), we recommend using it with the above "positive" values.

4. Future Measures

This is a "notation error" and we have confirmed that there is no problem with the quality and safety of the product.
Therefore, we will not recall the product without permission, and we will take the following measures.

We will contact you individually in order to apologize and provide you with the correct figures.

・About inventory and future sales:
We will sequentially apply correction stickers to all inventory, such as attaching correction stickers with the correct figures.

・When sales will resume:
We will resume sales of products that have completed the above procedures at any time.
