How to care for soccer shoes

What to prepare

  • Nylon brush (harder)
  • A towel that has been soaked in water and squeezed tightly (because it is for removing dirt, you can use something like a rag)
  • cleaner
  • Night liquid
  • Double-sided brushed cloth
  • Gloves
  • brush

Care procedure

  1. Preparation for care
  2. Clean the upper with a nylon brush on the outsole / brush
  3. Clean the upper with a squeezed towel
  4. Clean stubborn dirt with a cleaner
  5. Nourish leather with liquid
  6. Half day to 1 day shade drying

1. Preparation for care

First, remove the laces and insoles from the spikes.

The removed laces are dirty, so wash them in a washing machine to dry them.

When you remove the insole, there is a weak adhesive component on the insole, so be careful not to get dust on it.

Leaving the insole in place will make it harder to dry and may cause mold to grow.

2. 2. Clean the upper with a nylon brush on the outsole / brush

Use a nylon brush (a stiff one) to remove stains from the outsole.

Clean the upper with a brush.
(Removes dirt and grass debris caught between the upper and outsole.)

3. Clean the upper with a squeezed towel

Wipe the dirt off the upper with a wet towel squeezed firmly. Here, remove dirt and stains that could not be removed with a brush.

(If it is very dirty or used on a rainy day, you can wipe it off with shampoo.)

If you can't get rid of dirt on the stitches, push up with your finger to remove the jam.

The dirt around the tongue can also be removed by pushing it up with your finger.

4. Clean stubborn dirt with a cleaner

First, apply an appropriate amount of cleaner to the double-sided brushed cloth.

Carefully remove stubborn stains that are visible with a double-sided brushed cloth. We will remove dirt while adjusting the amount of cleaner according to the dirt, such as around the Excel line. (The drying time of the cleaner should be about 5 minutes. Immediately after the cleaner, it becomes difficult for the leather-retaining ingredients of the liquid to penetrate.)

5. Nourish leather with liquid

Be careful not to apply too much liquid, and apply it once so that it blends into the entire upper.

Wipe with a finishing glove until glossy. Liquid not only has a glossy effect, but also has a leather-retaining effect, which nourishes the leather and makes it healthy. (The drying time of the liquid should be about 10 minutes. If the applied liquid is still wet, it will be difficult for the gloves to become glossy.)

6. Half day to 1 day shade drying

Dry in a well-ventilated shade for half a day to a day.

It is still best to put in a shoe tree and shape it to prevent it from getting out of shape.

Also, clean the inside of the spike by removing dust. If the inside of the spike is left unclean, mold etc. will occur and it may cause deterioration.
