It's easy to say "newly made", but this is the most sticky part about the mold and the wooden mold.

And this time, we were able to welcome a strong partner to supervise Spike.

I can not tell you the specific name of the spike, but I am the person in charge of the original development of the top model spike shoes of a certain manufacturer that was released in the 1980s.

(It's a pity that I can't tell you the specific name because it's a shoe that's still on sale, but...)

Since the reproduction in Crowdfunding, we have had a wonderful relationship with the many encounters we have made with the support and cooperation of various people.

Based on the common idea of “making the best shoes in the history of spike shoes” as well as YASUDA's history, we were able to make molds and wooden molds that have been studied and prototyped.

I will talk in detail.

About new mold

First of all, about the mold that is the shape of the sole.

Basically, we made improvements while keeping in mind the faithful inheritance of the reprinted sole that was manufactured by direct injection, which I talked about last time.

The structure of 13 studs has not changed, but specifically,

-Change the angle of the toe stud

・Move the stud on the inside of the forefoot in the direction of the heel in millimeters.

・Move the stud on the heel by a few millimeters

I adjusted the stud position.

Not only that, but the stud top point area has been slightly reduced.

As a result, it is possible to adapt to various conditions of the court, and at the same time, it is easier to step on, step on, and run, improving the efficiency of performance.

In each case, it was calculated based on the long-term achievements of our partners, and we were able to repeatedly test and improve it with prototypes and make the best sole and mold.

About new wood pattern

The wooden pattern that has been used up to now is, to put it in a big way, "a wooden pattern that fits the feet of Japanese people at least a dozen years ago".

Now that time has passed, the shape of human feet has changed, and the playing style of soccer itself has evolved, so we redesigned it from that perspective.

However, of course, the premise is that YASUDA shoes fit Japanese feet.

The width is wide, the instep fits high legs, the heel is a little shallow and the range of motion is wide, and we have designed for technical play that Japanese and South American players are good at.

Even if I wear a typical Japanese foot of a soccer inexperienced person (I'm sorry, the "WEB staff" who writes this is not a player experience lol) I am very comfortable.

However, it was "YX-2018" when it was reproduced with crowdfunding, and "YX-2019" that continued.

Conversely, for these two pairs, we have been particular about pursuing the past methods.

From now on, in order to fulfill the role of YASUDA's reproduction in the future, I will take on new challenges.
