Hello everyone.

YASUDA staff provides information inside YASUDA.

It's a bit of a no-brainer, but this content is a little more in-depth than e-mail magazines and SNS.

Please read various things, including those from the past.

By the way, the following two things are often read.

>> (5) Kangaroo leather and YASUDA
>> (8) I tried wearing samples of all sizes.

Everyone seems to be interested in the content related to shoes.
Shall we deflect it?

By the way, this time, I would like to talk about shoes made of natural leather because "let's know the precautions unique to natural leather".

Materials of YASUDA shoes

The current YASUDA shoe lineup is the following three,

・Ligaresta Pro

・Ligaresta Pro-ex

・Ligaresta TF

The materials used are:

・Ligaresta Pro
→ Kangaroo Leather

・Ligaresta Pro-ex
→ Kangaroo Leather

・Ligaresta TF
→ cowhide

All shoes are made of "natural materials".

Natural leather is a maintenance requirement

Soccer shoes are made of such natural leather, but maintenance is essential.

It is a little different from those made of artificial materials, and since it is a natural material, I would not say that it is "alive", but if it is not cared for, it will deteriorate.

Just as leather shoes worn in suits can quickly become tattered if not polished and maintained regularly, so do soccer shoes.

I mean, unlike the leather shoes in a suit, you run bang-bang and kick the ball, so it's quite a burden.

It's not limited to shoes, but vaguely, compared to the past, products in the world in general,

If you don't maintain your soccer shoes...

So, it is a shoe made of such natural leather, but if you leave it unused, it will be insanely fragile.

There are two main patterns of breakdown, so I will introduce them.

■ Part 1, a pattern in which leather deteriorates anyway

If your shoes get wet from rain or sweat and you leave them unattended, the leather will deteriorate.

If you don't apply cream, the oil content of the leather may disappear, it will become crisp and stretchy.

■ Part 2, a pattern in which the sole peels off by leaving dirt in the gap

This is quite a lot.

If it is soil, pebbles, or artificial grass, it is unavoidable that black chips will get into the gaps, but if you don't clean this place every time,

"Play with foreign matter in the gap of the adhesive part"

You're going to have to, aren't you?

Then, a new foreign matter enters again, which puts a burden on it, so the damage to the adhesive part is large.

Foreign matter enters the adhesive part more and more, so the sole can finally be removed.

Regardless of the material, there is a pattern that it could have been used for a longer time by cleaning properly.

By the way, professional athletes often maintain their shoes well by equipment clerks such as Hopeiro, so the spikes last quite a long time.

Of course, there is a possibility that shoes with really poor contact will happen very rarely, but such a thing will break in a day or two.

To ensure that you can use it for as long as possible

More than two years have passed since its release, and the number of people using YASUDA shoes has increased.

Actually, in the last few months,

"There was a hole."

"I got the sole."

We received several inquiries such as:

I sometimes get the words, "Is it like this?"

If you use it hard without maintenance, it will break.

"Do you sell things that will break if not maintained?"

It seems to be said, but as an answer

I think this is the actual situation of soccer shoes, especially natural leather products.
Of course, there may be cases where it does not break even if it is not maintained at all.

It is typical of shoes that have been broken by using dirt, pebbles and chips without cleaning. It can happen anywhere.

If you clean and maintain them properly, they will last longer, and if you take care of them, it will be an opportunity to review your habits of using your feet.

By the way, how to care for your shoes is introduced on this page.

>> How to care for all-kangaroo leather

Supervised by Hopeiro, director of Verspa Oita, who also cooperates in the development of YASUDA's shoes, and Ryota Sakamoto.

The content has been available for several years, so please refer to it and take this opportunity to maintain it.

>> How to care for all-kangaroo leather

Also, although this is a product of another company, there is a shoe repair material called "Shoe Goo".

Since it is a product that has been around for a long time, many of you may know it, but some people use it from the beginning as a preventive measure to prevent foreign matter from entering in the first place, such as re-bonding the gap between the upper and sole that has been vacated (of course, after removing the foreign object).

Like this.

This is also recommended for long-term use.

If leather products are properly cared for, they can be used for a long time.
I would like you to use it until it is truly battered, so please do so.

So, inside review, this time it was a caution unique to natural leather.
Let's Maintenance!
